05/09/2015 ÿú Extremely well executed. I just restored and sold a low mileage 1979 kz400 LTD that had the stock airbox but no manifold rubber, filter or filter holder. Finding a replacement was nigh on impossible. Nothing on ebay and the couple of complete airbox units I sourced were being priced at gouge prices as the 400 LTD was unique to that one year.
15/04/2020 ÿú Re: '81 KZ440 Installing Airbox Lucky you. This is still not running good. Half choke to run at low-mid throttle. Took forever to idle properly, today was 35F. Id say all the work I did was a slight improvement from I got it. Ran only on full choke. Ready to piece it out.

18/07/2020 ÿú In the middle of a rebuild on a 400 LTD and am really confused about the airbox / air filter. Where does the filter fit in the box? Or does it hook into the back by the battery where the two rectangular holes are? There's no way to actually place the filter in the airbox . And before you say it, I'm committed to not using pods on this one.
